Power trowel gearboxes list a specific gear oil and level. Check it at every service; low oil is a common cause of gearbox failure.
A pump failure mid-pour is costly. Inspect hoses and grease the boom and S-tube points the day before, per the maker.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
