Hoist and boom ropes need a wire rope lubricant the crane or rope maker specifies. This catalog does not carry wire rope lube; source it separately and follow the rope inspection schedule.
Cranes go through frequent and periodic inspections under OSHA and manufacturer rules. Record fluid service with each inspection so the file shows what went in each compartment.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
Boom, outrigger, and hoist hydraulics list an ISO grade, sometimes by ambient temperature. Keep fluid clean and sample on high-hour cranes.
