Vacuum pumps and milk cooling are separate systems
Oil-lubricated milking vacuum pumps and bulk-tank refrigeration compressors use oils their makers specify. This catalog does not carry a dedicated vacuum pump oil or refrigeration compressor oil, so source those through the equipment dealer.
Washdown and manure are hard on grease
Pressure washing, manure, and urine rinse grease out of exposed pivots and bearings. Grease at the interval the chart lists for wet service, use the grease type it names, and keep each grease gun labeled by product.
Products by equipment.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
Loader tractors and skid steers
These machines scrape alleys and push feed every day. Match the shared transmission-hydraulic fluid or hydraulic oil each maker lists, and the diesel engine’s oil category and viscosity.
Mixer planetary gearboxes, spreader drives, and manure pump gearboxes each list their own gear oil grade and fill level. Use the grease the lubrication chart calls for at wet, corrosive pivots.
Milking, milk cooling, and barn ventilation stop when the power does. Keep the generator’s oil, coolant, and stored diesel inside the engine maker’s calendar limits.

Frequently asked questions
Can my loader tractor and skid steer use the same fluid?
Only if both makers list the same fluid. Many tractors share one transmission-hydraulic fluid, while many skid steers call for hydraulic oil or engine oil in the hydraulic system.
What oil goes in a TMR mixer gearbox?
The gear oil grade and quantity the mixer maker lists for that gearbox. Planetary drives often specify a particular viscosity; check the operator’s manual before changing it.
