Products for facilities management

Chillers and refrigeration are outside this catalog

Chiller and refrigeration compressors use oils specified for the refrigerant; cooling tower gearboxes often use ISO-grade industrial gear oils. This catalog does not carry those; follow the equipment maker.

Grease by quantity, not by feel

Over-greasing motor bearings causes as many failures as under-greasing. Use the motor maker’s quantity and interval, and record each bearing on a route sheet.

Products by equipment.

Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.

Pumps, fans, and motors

HVAC pumps, cooling tower fans, and air handler motors list a grease type, quantity, and interval.

Building air and tools

Control air compressors and shop tools follow their makers.

Elevators, lifts, and docks

Hydraulic elevators, dock levelers, and lifts list a fluid; elevator work follows the elevator contractor and code.

Emergency generators

Life-safety generators follow the engine maker’s oil and the code-required test schedule.
