Feeding happens twice a day, every day. Schedule services by hour meter and keep spare filters and top-off fluids for each compartment on hand so a loader is not parked waiting for parts.
Keep fluids clean in a dusty yard
Store drums and totes under cover, use sealed transfer containers, and wipe fill caps before opening. Contamination from the yard is a bigger risk than the oil itself.
Products by equipment.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
Wheel loaders and pen scrapers
Loaders run all day in manure and dust. Match the engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and transmission fluid standard each loader maker lists.
Truck-mounted and stationary mixers have planetary gearboxes and chain drives with their own gear oil; the truck chassis follows its engine and axle makers.
Augers, conveyors, and bucket elevators list bearing grease and gearbox oil. If a gearbox calls for an ISO-grade industrial gear oil, this catalog does not carry one.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the same oil in my loader and feed truck?
Only where both engine makers list the same category and viscosity. Transmissions and hydraulics usually need different fluids.
How often should feedlot equipment be sampled?
Follow the maker’s guidance and your maintenance plan. Many operations sample engines and hydraulics at each service on high-hour machines.
