Machine ways, spindle lubrication systems, and metalworking coolant use products this catalog does not carry. Follow the machine builder’s specification for those and keep them separate from hydraulic oil, since cross-contamination is a common problem.
Way oil and hydraulic leaks end up in the coolant sump. Fixing leaks and using the specified oils helps keep coolant and parts clean.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
CNC lathes and mills often have hydraulic units for chucks, tailstocks, and tool changers. Match the ISO grade the machine builder lists.
