Wind machines and frost fans often have an engine and a large gearbox, each with a maker’s lubricant. Engine oil and filters are in this catalog; if the gearbox calls for an ISO-grade industrial gear oil, this catalog does not carry one, so source it through the machine dealer.
Spray residue and washdown
Chemical residue and frequent rinsing are hard on grease points and seals. Follow the sprayer maker’s cleaning procedure and re-grease after washdown where the chart directs.
Products by equipment.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
Narrow and specialty tractors
Orchard and vineyard tractors pull sprayers, mowers, and shredders between rows. Match the tractor maker’s transmission-hydraulic fluid and engine oil.
Airblast sprayer gearboxes, flail mowers, and PTO drivelines each list a gear oil and grease. Pumps on sprayers have their own oil requirement in the pump manual.

Frequently asked questions
What oil goes in an airblast sprayer gearbox?
The grade the sprayer maker lists for that gearbox. Pump crankcases on many sprayers list a separate oil; check both manuals.
Can orchard platforms use tractor fluid?
Use the hydraulic fluid the platform maker specifies. Some use standard hydraulic oil, others list a specific type or grade.
