Big drive reducers often specify ISO 150–460 industrial gear oil, and saw guides use a dedicated saw guide lubricant. This catalog does not carry either; source them to the machine maker’s specification.
Sawdust, bark, and water
Fine dust and wet bark get into breathers, seals, and grease points. Keep breathers and filters current, wipe fittings before greasing, and sample hydraulic oil for particles and water.
Products by equipment.
Confirm the lubricant type, grade, and specifications in each equipment manual before ordering.
Log yard loaders and log stackers
Log loaders and wheel loaders follow their makers’ engine, hydraulic, and transmission specifications.

Frequently asked questions
How often should sawmill hydraulic oil be sampled?
Follow the maker’s guidance and your reliability program. Many mills sample critical carriage and positioning systems on a regular schedule.
What grease suits kiln fan bearings?
The type and grade the bearing or fan maker lists for the temperature. High-temperature service may call for a specific grease.
