The oil jacket around the kettle needs the heat transfer fluid the melter maker lists. Never top it off with hydraulic or engine oil. A1’s catalog does not carry heat transfer oil.
Clear the hose at shutdown
Sealant left in the wand hose hardens; follow the maker’s shutdown and recirculation steps every day.
Fluids by compartment.
Confirm the fluid type, grade, and specifications in the crack sealing melter maker’s manual before ordering. These examples are not a fitment result for a specific machine.
Engine
Small diesel or gas engines follow their makers’ oil.
