Airboats with aircraft engines use aviation oils with their own approvals; A1’s catalog does not list aviation engine oil.
Heat at low speed
Airboat engines work hard with little ram air at slow speed; keep radiators and coolant in order.
Fluids by compartment.
Confirm the fluid type, grade, and specifications in the airboat maker’s manual before ordering. These examples are not a fitment result for a specific machine.
Automotive engine
V8 and similar engines use the oil the engine builder lists; flat-tappet builds may call for a high-zinc oil.
